June 2026: Stablecoins Hit ATH, New Data Platforms, and Top Shot Moments Become Permanent

June marked milestones for Flow and projects across its ecosystem. Stablecoin market cap surged to a new all-time high, the most-trusted Web3 analytics and data visualization platforms integrated Flow, and a wave of novel products were shipped. Multiple projects launched drops that were sold out as Flow is approaching 1 billion transactions since launch. Here are the major highlights of the month:

What's Flowin': June Milestones and Momentum

  • Stablecoin Market Cap ATH: Stablecoin market cap on Flow hit an all-time high of $74.6M USD. Read more about this here
  • Strong DeFi Yields: More Markets (https://www.more.markets/) averaged ~20% trailing-30d APY
  • Onchain Analytics: Dune and Token Terminal both integrated with Flow.
  • Top Shot Brings True Authentication: NBA Top Shot became the first major sports collectible platform where every owner can independently authenticate their collection end-to-end.
  • Sold-Out Drops: Disney Pinnacle, MFL, and NBA Top Shot all see quick sell outs in their June Drops.
  • Ecosystem Expansion: 24Karat partnered with Gusto to bring Flow collectibles into 20+ restaurants across Japan, and multiple independent builders launched new apps.

Let’s dive into each!

Stablecoin Market Cap Hits an All-Time High

The Flow stablecoin market cap reached an all-time high of ~$74.6M in early June and held that level throughout the month, driven by developments across the Flow DeFi ecosystem.

The biggest catalyst was HIFI now supporting the Flow network, migrating over $40 million in stablecoins onto Flow EVM, settling in PYUSD0. HIFI gives developers building on Flow the rails to onramp users into stablecoins, offramp to local bank accounts across US and abroad, and settle payments at scale. HIFI now powers over 100,000 transactions a day for leading apps on Flow. Read more about this new integration on Flow.

The surge in PYUSD0 lifted Flow to the #4 network by PYUSD supply, with over 80,000 users on Flow now holding PYUSD0.

High Yields and New DeFi Primitives on Flow

AlphaYields, a yield automation protocol on Flow, deployed a FLOW vault on More Markets that averaged 21.9% APY over the trailing 30 days (rates are variable; DeFi carries risk). The yield is generated by lending-market activity against FLOW: depositors supply WFLOW into More Markets' lending pools, the vault auto-compounds the returns, and AlphaYields handles the rebalancing so users don't have to actively manage positions. For FLOW holders, this is a way to put tokens to work onchain without bridging or holding new assets. Explore the AlphaYields vault at AlphaYields.ai. To get started, you’ll need to swap your FLOW to WFLOW on EVM - you can do so within Flow Wallet or via a DEX such as Trado, KittyPunch, or PunchSwap.

KittyPunch announced the upcoming launch of Punch Markets, a non-custodial perpetuals DEX that will reward users even if they lose on a trade. Perpetuals are one of the largest DeFi categories by volume across crypto, and adding a native perps venue means Flow traders will soon have access to leverage and short positions without leaving the network. The KittyPunch team is taking a novel approach to Perps, and you can follow Punch Markets on X for updates.

Flow on Dune & Token Terminal

Two of the most-advanced and widely-used on-chain analytics platforms, Dune and Token Terminal, both announced official integrations with Flow. Dune allows anyone to use their MCPs to query live data across both VMs on Flow. Both platforms are used by thousands of analysts and investors across the world and offer deep visibility into metrics across the network and the apps that run on it.

Anyone Can Authenticate Their Collectible

NBA Top Shot became the only sports collectible any owner can independently authenticate end-to-end using just an internet connection, through being preserved with the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). It landed mid-Finals, the same week the first-ever WNBA instant Moment went on sale. Since the IPFS announcement, Tibles shipped its own IPFS Desktop client for its collectors where collectors can host the assets surrounding their collectibles and pin them forever.

Ecosystem Builders Getting Traction & Experimenting

In the second half of the month, Disney Pinnacle ran its Summer Splash campaign, with collectible pins spanning classics like Toy Story and modern hits like Moana. The campaign featured a Legendary pack drop that sold out.

24Karat, the platform that has integrated Flow digital collectibles into the Japanese market through thousands of Japanese vending machines, has struck a partnership with Gusto, bringing their touch interfaces for digital collectibles into 20+ restaurants across Japan.

MFL launched a one-off 48-nation tournament, Nations Cup 2026, running alongside the FIFA World Cup starting from June 2. As part of the competition, MFL had an exclusive U23 pack drop that was instantly sold out. Teams compete for a prize pool of ~$55k up till July 8th.

While established projects have been shipping and engaging with users, ecosystem builders have been experimenting on completely new primitives and use-cases. Oydual announced his tinkering with novel zero-knowledge proof designs that the Flow dual-VM architecture uniquely makes possible, aiming at anonymous tipping and payments. Libruary has been testing a new user-generated pack mechanic on top of Top Shot moments, where collectors open their packs at the same set time, creating a shared experience. Solo builders like Rohit are experimenting with yield-protected DeFi, launching a revamp of their Yoldr hackathon project where the principal stays locked while the yield is allocated to diversified assets like BTC and ETH.
