What's Happening?
Flow now has pre-native PayPal USD support. PYUSD0 is the new canonical USD stablecoin on Flow. PYUSD0 brings direct integration with PayPal's ecosystem and seamless cross-chain transfers via LayerZero and Stargate.
If you're holding USDF, you can convert it 1:1 to PYUSD0.
How to Migrate Your USDF

FAQ
Q: Why is Flow switching to PYUSD0?
A: PYUSD0 brings pre-native PayPal USD support to Flow with seamless cross-chain transfers across 140+ chains via Stargate. It's part of LayerZero's Asset0 program alongside other major stablecoins like USDG0 (backed by Robinhood, Kraken, Mastercard) and AUSD0. USDF was limited to Ethereum and Solana bridge paths, PYUSD0 gives Flow users access to the full Stargate network.
Q: Is there a deadline to migrate?
A: No hard deadline, but USDF liquidity and incentives will decrease over time. Migrate early for the best experience.
Q: Will I lose money in the swap?
A: No. USDF and PYUSD0 are both backed 1:1 by PayPal USD. The migration portal swaps at 1:1 with no fee beyond gas.
Q: What if I do nothing?
A: Your USDF remains in your wallet but will become harder to use as liquidity moves to PYUSD0.
Q: Can I still bridge USDF after migration?
A: USDF bridging will be deprecated. Use PYUSD0 for cross-chain transfers via Stargate.
Q: What are the contract addresses for PYUSD0 and USDF?
A: On Flow EVM Mainnet:
- PYUSD0:
0x99af3eea856556646c98c8b9b2548fe815240750 - USDF (deprecated):
0x2aaBea2058b5aC2D339b163C6Ab6f2b6d53aabED
You can find all stablecoin contract addresses here
Q: Is PYUSD0 available on testnet?
A: Yes, use the testnet PYUSD0 contract 0xd7d43ab7b365f0d0789aE83F4385fA710FfdC98F. This is a stand-in token for testing purposes only (mainnet PYUSD0 requires real PYUSD locked via LayerZero). The testnet contract has a mint function and a liquidity pool so you can mint or swap tokens for development.
Q: What does "pre-native" mean? Why is it called PYUSD0 and not just PYUSD?
A: PYUSD0 is a pre-native token, it's fully backed 1:1 by PayPal USD (PYUSD) and works exactly like the native asset, but it's deployed via LayerZero's Asset0 program rather than directly by the issuer (Paxos). The 0 indicates it's part of the Asset0 standard, alongside other pre-native stablecoins like USDG0 and AUSD0.
When PayPal/Paxos later deploys native PYUSD directly on Flow, your PYUSD0 will automatically upgrade 1:1 to the native token; no swaps, bridges, or action required on your part.
