Doodles 2 collectibles are coming to Flow, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome their community to the Flow family. The Doodles team’s journey to expand everywhere begins when they launch on Flow. Cross-chain interoperability and support is critical in creating a cohesive web3 world, and Doodles represents one of the biggest swings in making that a reality.
Not familiar with Doodles? The quick rundown is that the Doodles core collection features 10,000 unique collectibles on Ethereum, with hundreds of hand-drawn traits and designs against an unmistakable pastel palette. They’re one of the most recognizable brands in web3, with a community as vibrant as the Doodle themselves. Doodles 2 collectibles on Flow will bring their vision to life everywhere like never before, and we’re excited to be the home of a brand new way to express yourself.
To help celebrate the launch, we’re kicking off a new series where we speak with the brains behind the brands, starting with Doodles CEO Julian Holguin.
This year is all about bringing Doodles “out of the box.” We want to bridge physical and digital touchpoints in new, fresh ways because at their core, Doodles are designed to be digital identities– expressions of ourselves, or rather, how we see ourselves, that can travel with us everywhere we go.
We’re beginning that journey with Doodles 2, a series of collectibles that enable holders to customize your Doodle with wearables (apparel, accessories, gadgets + more). Once your perfect look is set, your new dynamic NFT identity will now be ready to share across social media, IRL experiences and the many other integrations we have planned.
Because we believe Doodles should be able to live everywhere, we wanted a partner for Doodles 2 that could support our vision for where digital identities could go. Thanks to Flow’s powerful composability, holders can have Doodles that are portable and interoperable across social platforms, gaming worlds, live events, streaming content, retail activations and other imaginative moments. As we open Doodles up to the world, we know we can rely on an architecture that was built to scale from day one. Flow offers an easy onboarding to Doodles for newcomers to NFTs and web3, from seamless checkout experiences to world-class security, safety and recoverability of their Doodles.
Starting with current Doodles holders, they will be able to buy, sell and trade their wearables on Gaia, allowing them to curate a unique collection that represents their individual identities.
Each edition of wearables unlocked during this time will include a Doodles 2 Beta Pass for future use. At this stage, collectors will have everything they need for early access to private beta - the first iteration of our create your own Doodle tool. Access to private beta and this new tool will only be unlocked via the Beta Pass.
What will follow are exciting drops featuring unique Doodles 2 wearables, with brand collaborations featuring partners, musicians, creators and more as the Doodle universe opens up to more people.
The Dooplicator will launch on January 31 for current Doodles holders. Each Dooplicator will mint first edition Doodles 2 wearables, creating your first Flow NFTs to customize your Doodle. Stay tuned for more information on that from the Doodles team!
Genesis boxes are next up, unlocking about a month after the Dooplicator. These will mint second edition Doodles 2 wearables, as well as a Doodles 2 Beta Pass for future use. Once you have your wearables and Beta Pass, you’ll have everything you need to access the private beta once it begins, which will be the first look at the create-your-own Doodle tool.

Creating a Dapper wallet to house your Doodle takes just a few clicks, or users can decide to transfer the NFTs into their own non-custodial wallets such as Blocto immediately, whenever they choose.
