Flow Boots will keep you warm and dry all day long

The key to keeping your feet happy is a great fit, but also temperature and moisture control. We use a thermal insulating barrier between the outsole and liner called SpaceBlanket, to keep the warmth inside and the cold outside. And to regulate moisure and avoid smell, our liners utilize Silvadur materials to avoid sweaty feet and provide longlasting freshness.

Barefoot Feel for more Control

BareFoot Technology (B.F.T.) is a combination of our collaboration with Vibram for our outsoles, and our proprietary OC-Kush dampening system, to ensure your feet stay happy and comfortable while transferring the maximum of power to your binding and board. B.F.T. outsoles are light, provide lots of traction, let your feet move naturally, give plenty of support and dampening, and let you stay in control of any situation wether it is a fast turn, a big landing or just walking across the slippery parking lot.

  1. Great boot locker in feel

Posted by on 22nd Feb 2016

I have my hylites for three years now. (6 weeks of riding) they are a little hard to get on / off compared to my ions. I love the hylites over the ions because of the locked in feel. They fit like a glove unlike my other boots. If I had to but new boots I would directly buy a new pair of hylites.

  2. Quality and Comfy

Posted by on 1st Feb 2016

I bought these boots in the 2015 model (black/yellow). I was initially worried that they would be too stiff. turns out they are perfect in just about every way. They are tough to get off sometimes, even if you make sure you release the liner lock all the way and pull the inner tab. These are extremely comfortable, and the build quality is outstanding. I looked at a lot of boots, and was most impressed by these, inside and out! also a great fit with my NX2 bindings.

  3. It isn't half bad.

Posted by on 8th Jan 2016

Lets get the bad stuff out of the way first. I don't know of any shrinkage tech on this boot and with someone like me that feature could really help. Also these boots are much harder to get on/off than other boots I tried on. On the bright side it is very comfortable and stiff. Those were two of the things I wanted in a boot and these delivered. They could use a little more cushioning for bumpy terrain but walking around and riding normal runs in. The yellow boa dials are very cool and so is the sole. This boot wins in the looks department. I put roughly 20 or so days on these boots and the flex retention was pretty good. They were never ski boot stiff but when I got them they definitely felt like it. Not so much the case anymore. The liner is incredible and it is one of the most satisfying things to tighten. When you stick your foot in initially it doesn't feel to great and then you tighten the cord on the side and it turns into a soft hug around your foot. I felt locked in with minimal heel lift.

  4. Super comfy

Posted by on 8th Jan 2016

Bought these boots to replace my no boa boot, I had the speed lacing, and hated pulling the cords. From the first day I got them they fit like a glove. They run a little large, and generally I wear wide shoes (big toebox). My old boots were a 10.5 in the Flow boots I wear a 10, with ample width in the toe box area. I would have given this a 5 star rating, however the wire on the boa un seated from the winder. It was only a 10 minute fix, just re thread the wire (wire did not break), but I was not happy about doing it at the mountain.

The 2 zone boa is nice because it give you the ability to dial in the boot. Other nice features on the boot are the pull tabs inside the liner to help loosen it enough to get feet out easily, as these boots old like a glove to your feet.
The footbeds on these boots are better than most, but I still replaced them with molded footbeds.

All in all a really comfortable boot.

  5. Great fit and super light!

Posted by on 8th Jan 2016

I've been riding for 20+ years and have a lot of rides on my feet. I purchased these boots and have 40 rides in them. I bragged to all my friends they feel like slippers compared to my old boots. With the double boa system you are able to adjust them to your liking. They can be somewhat difficult to take off after a day of riding but with a tight fit I think it is acceptable. They are light and I never had a day of cold feet!!
