Kush-Control Rides Better

Our all-new KUSH-CONTROL TECHNOLOGY consists of 3 unique Urethane features, which are strategically placed in the base, the sidewall and the topsheet to create the smoothest and strongest snowboards available on the hill. Urethane is flexible and highly resistant to impacts in extremely cold temperatures. Urethane is also utilized due to its superior bonding properties and can withstand the abuse that a snowboard endures. We have engineered our boards to exploit the excellent dampening properties of Urethane, so we can provide you the smoothest ride possible.

The Darwin is extremely responsive and keeps me riding high in the deep stuff, coupled with FLOW bindings and boots...WOW!!! I love to carve the snow like surfing while dodging trees and this ride is m a d e f o r i t!! I am one happy boarder.

  2. Ideal Darwinism!

Ive ridden Flow bindings for years and am sold on the concept of the power triangle however I had never gotten a chance to ride the boards. This past demo days at Mammoth I finally got my chance. Daves wave had been gettin windbuffed all day and was the perfect test to try out the Darwin. It handled the traverse much better than I expected as I'm used to riding with mag. It accelled in the crust of the wind buffed zones, slicing and dicing through the chop. When I got to the groomed runs on the the lower part of the mountain it blew my mind. It seems that manufactures tend to sacrifice piste riding ability when designing a powder board. The Darwins designers definitely did not make this mistake. It has a very nice side cut that allows for deep carving. The only thing I noticed that some riders may not like is how heavy it is but without the heft it wouldn't handle the crud as well as it does. I believe the name is perfect for this board, as only the strong survive, only a strong rider can truly appreciate how good this board actually is. If I had the money I'd definitely own this board.

  3. It doesn't just swallow tail, it swallows pow.

I got this board for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It is now my go to pow slayer. The spooned nose and split tail make it a dream to cut through the deep stuff. I like that it came in a 157 and think it is the perfect size for me. This could be an issue though because not everyone out there is 5' 10" 170lbs. I like the graphic and I don't think I will sticker this board haha. The Darwin handles it on groomers and in pow better than any other pow board I have ever ridden. The only issues I have with it are the fact that it is a very terrain specific board which is to be expected but is still a drawback when you don't get too much pow. As a result I found myself riding my Burton Custom much more on groomers because the Darwin is really meant for more snow than I see on a daily basis. The Darwin has been the perfect addition to my quiver and fills the hole in my heart on deep pow days but I don't get to ride it enough to appreciate it. Overall a fantastic board and I hope to spend a lot more time on it.

  4. Surprisingly versatile

This might be the best board i've ever ridden. I took it in knee deep pow and it effortlessly floats on top of the snow, no need to set back. No leg cramping what so ever. I was blown away. I recently took it up on some groomed runs. It was hard packed and this thing RIPS! Great for carving! I use to be a rocker kind of guy, this camber board is making me rethink how i felt about camber. steep and deep or hard packed, this thing is great!
